Job summary

Senior Helpers (US) is seeking an in-home caregiver to support clients in their own homes, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life. You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and contribute to overall well-being.

Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, grooming, meal prep, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and accompanying clients to appointments. A compassionate, patient approach and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with elderly clients in a caregiving role is preferred.
• Experience assisting seniors with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
• Understanding of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other memory-related conditions is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and linen changes
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior
• Accompany clients to appointments and outings
