Job summary

Right at Home Torrance is seeking an In-Home Caregiver to provide personal care, companionship, and light housekeeping in clients' homes in the South Bay area.

You will support daily living activities, assist with meals, mobility, and medication reminders, and help clients maintain independence and dignity in a compassionate team environment.

Qualifications

• DPSS Home Care Aide registered
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
• Must pass a background check
• Recent TB test within the last year (90 days if newly registered as HCA)
• Must live in or near South Bay area

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Perform housekeeping (vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathroom)
• Prepare meals and snacks per instructions
• Accompany clients to errands or medical appointments
• Provide companionship (reading, music, puzzles, etc.)
• Assist with prescribed range of motion exercises and dementia care
• Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
