Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Mississippi is hiring CNAs, Homemakers, and Caregivers with personal and companion care experience. Part-time work is available with morning, evening, overnights and weekends.

Assist clients with daily living activities, provide companionship, and support safe living at home, in assisted living facilities, or hospital settings. We welcome compassionate, team-oriented individuals who can pass background checks and have a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in personal care or related fields.
• Compassionate and caring demeanor.
• Ability to build rapport with clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to get along with others and work as a team.
• Must be able to pass a background check (criminal) and motor vehicle.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities
• Provide companionship
• Escort clients on errands or appointments
• Assist with personal hygiene, bathing, toileting, and oral care
• Assist with transferring, and walking
• Communicate care information
• Collaborate with clients and families for best care opportunities
• Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment
• Communicate with other caregiver’s on how client is doing or up-date them on new service needs
• Teamwork
