Job summary

AmeriCare Plus in Virginia is hiring CNAs, NAs and PCAs to provide in-home personal care to clients in their homes. The role offers flexible scheduling (FT/PT/PRN) and meaningful, compassionate care with weekly pay and benefits when eligible.

You will assist with hygiene, mobility, meals, medication reminders, companionship, light housekeeping, and health monitoring, while maintaining a safe, respectful home environment.

Qualifications

• CNA, NA, or PCA certification required; online training available for PCA.
• Reliable transportation and Virginia driver's license.
• SS card and two professional references.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
• Support mobility and transfers (e.g., bed to wheelchair).
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior.
