Job summary

HomeWell Care Services IN219 is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one non-medical in-home support for seniors. You will build relationships with clients, perform daily living tasks, and help them age in place with empathy, excellence and integrity.

No healthcare cert is required, but CNA/HHA or caregiving experience is preferred; you must pass a background check, have a TB test, and hold a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• CNA, HHA certification or 6+ months of geriatric care experience preferred.
• Experience with dementia/Alzheimer's care is a plus.
• Must have daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone.
• Pass a criminal background check (national and state as required).
• Proof of TB test (negative).
• Physically able to lift, push and pull ~25 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willing to travel ~15 miles.
• Compassion for older adults; strong communication; reliability and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Provide social companionship to clients.
• Assist with daily living tasks (feeding, reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, hygiene, light housekeeping, laundry, meal prep).
• Transport clients to appointments, run errands, and accompany social outings.
• Offer standby assistance with transfers and overnight safety.
