Job summary

Comfort Keepers is hiring in-home caregivers to provide compassionate care and companionship to seniors. The role requires hands-on caregiving experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. CNA certification is preferred but not required.

You will follow care plans, assist with daily activities, and ensure a safe, respectful home environment. Benefits include weekly direct deposit, PTO after one year, onboarding paid orientation, referral bonuses, and 24/7 office

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience (in-home care, facility, or private care).
• Transportation: Valid driver’s license, active auto insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to safely lift up to 25 lbs, perform physical transfers.
• Professionalism: Excellent communication skills, strong punctuality, and a safety-first mindset.
• Comfort with pets: Comfortable working in homes with pets present.
• Certification: CNA license preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Mobility & transfer support: Safely assist clients with walking, standing, and transfers using equipment such as gait belts and transfer devices.
• Personal care: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal preparation.
• Care plan execution: Follow Plans of Care, maintain a safe living environment, monitor fall risks, report changes.
• Companionship: Provide engaging social interaction, active listening, and emotional support.
