Job summary

Family Resource Home Care is seeking caregivers to support clients across the Palouse region, serving Moscow, Pullman, Colfax, Lewiston and Clarkston. You will assist with ADLs, provide companionship, and help with errands and transportation.

No CNA license is required to start; WA HCA training is offered, and you’ll complete it while working. You must hold a WA driver’s license with active auto insurance. Weekly pay and flexible scheduling accompany this role.

Qualifications

• WA State driver’s license and auto insurance required.
• 18+ years of age or older.
• Background check (state and national) required.
• HCA training program offered if not yet certified.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Perform household tasks: cleaning, laundry, dishes.
• Prepare and serve meals; monitor client nutrition.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in activities.
• Transport clients to stores or appointments as needed.
• Monitor and report client condition to supervisor.

Our Palouse branch services Moscow, Pullman, Colfax, Lewiston & Clarkston, and nearby surrounding areas.

Not Certified?

We offer Home Care Aide (HCA) training! Start working right away while completing your HCA through a self-paced and online training course.

HCA Training is required for anyone working in WA State and is not yet certified

Pay Rate: $19.00- $22.50hr.

Depending on client care level and shift type.

Shifts

• Lewiston/Clarkston area from 7AM-10PM Sat/Sun
• Split shifts 7AM-9am/10am & 2pm-10pm

Requirement

We ask that you have your WA state Driver's License and Auto Insurance.

Caregiver Job Duties

Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to):

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition

Additional Information

• Our hiring process is fast and simple! Apply and the recruiter in your region will connect with you to schedule a phone interview. If hired, you will be scheduled for orientation at your branch. Once you have completed onboarding, orientation, and training, you can start working with clients!
• If you do not have a current HCA or CNA license, you will be required to enroll in our HCA training program we offer (due to state requirements). You will be able to complete the training while working and will have 120 days to complete it.

Requirements

• 18 years+
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record
• Ability to complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed
