Job summary

UnitedHealth Group, through Mederi Private Care (a part of LHC Group), seeks PRN home-based caregivers in Ocklawaha, Belleview, and nearby areas to help individuals stay in their homes with personal care and daily living support.

You will perform tasks like bathing, meal prep, and appointment accompaniment, while documenting vital signs and maintaining confidentiality. AHCA training, CPR, a valid driver’s license, and flexible hours are preferred.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of home care experience.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• FL: 40-hour AHCA training or competency test.
• Flexible hours preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, meds reminders).
• Support household tasks, meals, and accompany clients to appointments.
• Monitor and document client condition; use EVV system.

As a home-based Caregiver, you will provide support, assistance with personal hygiene and household functions for an individual to be able to remain in their own home. We are hiring PRN Caregivers for multiple shifts in Ocklawaha, Belleview and the surrounding areas.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs

Required Qualifications:

• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transit
• BLS/CPR certification

The hourly pay for this role will range from $14 to $20 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
