Job summary

Right at Home in Wichita, KS is hiring caregivers to assist seniors in their own homes with daily living activities. You will provide personal care and homemaker services, and work one-on-one with clients to improve quality of life.

Responsibilities include companionship, mobility assistance, and safety monitoring, with flexible hours and paid training offered. A compassionate attitude and reliable transportation are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED is required.
• Sympathetic attitude toward care of the sick is essential.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Provide Activities of Daily Living including personal care and homemaker duties in the client’s home.
• Work one-on-one with clients and help keep them safe and comfortable.

Must Haves

• High school degree and/or a G.E.D. certificate
• Homemaker Companion must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, and the ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English with or without reasonable accommodations as needed for the job.
• Must have a current and valid driver’s license and be able to safely operate a vehicle in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations with or without reasonable accommodations.
