Qualifications

  • Comfortable assisting with personal care tasks and physical mobility support.
  • Strong communication skills — able to interact professionally with clients, families, and office staff.

Responsibilities

  • Providing companionship and meaningful engagement through conversation, activities, and emotional support.
  • Assisting with personal care needs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene support.
  • Preparing meals and snacks according to client preferences, dietary needs, or care plan instructions, and providing feeding support if needed.
  • Performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes, tidying common areas, taking out trash, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
  • Providing medication reminders in accordance with the care plan (no handling or administering of medications).
  • Assisting with mobility, repositioning, and safe transfers, including the use of walkers, wheelchairs, or other mobility aids.
  • Providing transportation assistance for medical appointments, errands, grocery shopping, or other approved outings.
  • Providing respite care support to give family caregivers a needed break while ensuring continuity of care.
  • Following all care instructions, documenting shift activity appropriately, and communicating any changes in the client's condition or needs to the office promptly.
  • Supporting each client’s independence, personal preferences, daily routines, and overall well‑being with professionalism and respect.

What You’ll Do
