Kennedy Care in Melvindale, MI is seeking a Life Care Professional (In-Home Caregiver) to assist with daily living activities and provide compassionate, at-home care for clients. The role is part-time with morning shifts and will involve travel within a 25-30 mile radius.

Pay ranges from $16.00 to $20.00 per hour based on certifications and experience. Kennedy Care emphasizes training, paid orientation, PTO, holiday pay, referrals, and dedicated coordinator support to ensure high-quality care

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Age 18 or older
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within a 25-30 mile radius
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. independently

• Dependable, compassionate caregiver mindset
• Additional requirements may vary based on client assignment.

Preferred (not required)

• Experience in home care, caregiving, or healthcare
• CNA certification or similar caregiver background
• Experience supporting veterans
• Experience with dementia, TBI, or spinal cord injury
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and auto insurance (may be required depending on client needs)
