As an in-home caregiver you’ll assist with personal care, meals, light housekeeping, mobility support, and companionship. Training in dementia care is offered to broaden your skills, with a range of shifts from full-time to PRN.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License, car insurance, and reliable vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• First Aid training and emergency response knowledge required (provided if needed).
• Reliable transportation to client homes and flexible, compassionate attitude.

Responsibilities

• Helping clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks.
• Planning and preparing meals with clients.
• Handling light housekeeping duties.
• Reporting health changes or unusual incidents.
• Providing companionship and supportive presence.
• Responding quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Accompanying and supervising clients during shopping trips.
• Reminding clients to take medications as prescribed.
• Assisting with mobility and ambulation at home and during appointments/errands.

In Home Caregiver Job Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Posses a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed)
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
• Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
• Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
• Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
