Job summary

Family Resource Home Care in Wenatchee is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients with daily living activities. You will assist with chores, meals, bathing, grooming, transportation, and companionship in a local home care setting.

We offer flexible scheduling, weekly pay, paid orientation and training, paid travel time, and ongoing support from a caring team. No experience? We train you to deliver high-quality care to clients and their families.

Qualifications

• 18 years+
• Able to lift 10–50 lb (rarely)
• Own a smartphone
• Pass state and national background checks
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record
• Complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (household chores, cooking, bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Provide companionship and engage in daily activities and hobbies.
• Transport clients to store/appointments as needed.
• Monitor and report on client condition.

Caregiver Job Duties

Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to):

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition

Additional Information

• Washington only – If you do not have a current HCA or CNA license, you will be required to enroll in our HCA training program we offer (due to state requirements). You will be able to complete the training while working and will have 120 days to complete it.
• Oregon only – If you have not previously completed the state-required 8-hour Home Care Pulse caregiver training, you will be required to complete the training along with the nurse-led medication training before you can work with clients. You will be paid to complete both trainings!

Requirements

• 18 years+
• Ability to lift a minimum of 10lbs and up to 50lb rarely.
• Must own a smart phone with capabilities to download and use a mobile app.
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record
• Ability to complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed
