Job summary

MAS Home Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide in-home care for clients in Lewiston, Maine, with a block full-time schedule from 7:30 am–3:30 pm. You will collaborate with the caregiving team, patients, and families to deliver high-quality, compassionate care in the home setting.

The role requires an active Maine RN license, CPR certification, 1–2 years of experience, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. Flu vaccinations are mandatory unless medically exempt.

Qualifications

  • Active RN license in Maine is required.
  • 1–2 years prior healthcare experience preferred.
  • Active CPR certification is required.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Clean driving record and background check.
  • Vaccinations per state regulations (flu shots) are mandatory unless a medical exemption is provided.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care to patients in their homes.
  • Collaborate with the caregiving team, patients, and families to deliver high-quality care.
  • Develop and follow care plans with clinical and non-clinical teams.
  • Provide training and education to patients, families, and care teams to ensure home safety and promote independence.
  • Complete documentation and communicate with the office team; participate in administrative tasks.
  • Promote client independence and healing and demonstrate competency in patient care.
