Job summary

HomeWell Care Services in the Myrtle Beach area is seeking compassionate caregivers to join a supportive team. You will provide trusted non-medical in-home care to seniors and people with disabilities, building meaningful relationships and helping them age in place.

Candidates: CNA or HHA license preferred, or experience; must have reliable transportation and pass background checks; travel to client homes and deliver meals, companionship, mobility assistance, and light housekeeping.

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA license preferred, or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons
• Must be in the Myrtle Beach area or commutable distance
• Exceptional communication skills
• Reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Proof of current TB testing
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position
• Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable
• Pass a criminal background check (national and required by the state)

• Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
• Prepare meals and snacks

• Dispense medication
