Job summary

All Day Comfort Senior Care is seeking experienced caregivers to join our non-medical home care team. Ideal candidates should have at least a year of home care experience, a clean driving record, and must communicate proficiently in English.

We offer flexible shifts, short shifts, and various positions in Clark County. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for patients through compassionate care, and we provide the necessary training for dedicated individuals.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of home care experience preferred.
• Must have a history of home care and a passion to help the elderly.
• Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing and grooming.
• Provide basic food preparation and housekeeping services.
• Offer companionship and assistance with walking and physical therapy.
• Assist with medication reminders and toileting.

Job description

We are looking for and interviewing experienced Caregivers, HCA’s, CNA's and Senior Companions to join our non-medical home care team.

Preferable to have at least 1 year home care experience. We can speak about getting you certified if you don't have certifications but have a history of home care and a passion to help the elderly.

Currently we are offering short shifts and other shifts to come. We also can offer flexible hours; which include days, evenings and weekends. We have shifts available all over Clark County. Ideal candidates will have their own vehicle, a cell phone and a computer. Caregivers, HCA’s, CNA's and Senior Companions must also speak English well; have a clean arrest record and a good driving record. Level 2 Background Check will be provided to all potential applicants.

Our general:

• Assisting with personal care:
• bathing and grooming, dressing, toileting, and exercise.
• Basic food preparation:
• preparing meals, shopping, housekeeping, laundry, and other errands.
• Back-up care (or respite) services: providing other caregivers a break.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.50 /hour

PERSONAL CARE COMPANION

• Provide conversation and companionship
• Assist with walking and home physical therapy
• Prepare current and future meals, monitor diet and eating
• Medication reminders
• Assist with bathing, grooming and dressing
• Assist with toileting

HOME HELPER

• Light housekeeping
• Laundry and linen washing
• Accompany to doctor appointments
• Running errands for clients
• Assist with paying bills
• Prepare grocery list and do shopping

OVERNIGHTS

• All services of companion position
• Assist with evening routine
• Assist as needed throughout the night

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with other related duties as requested or asked by clients
• Call office with any changes to client’s health, needs, and/or living conditions
• Communicate with clients in a respectful manner
• Treat client and client’s property with respect
• Capability to drive or take public transportation to clients home
• Capability to lift a maximum of 25 pounds
• Report hours worked
