Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare is seeking a compassionate personal care attendant to support clients in their homes. The role includes assisting with bathing, dressing, mobility, meal preparation, light housekeeping and providing companionship to enhance well-being and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Provide mobility assistance, including walking, transferring, and positioning
• Help with toileting and incontinence care
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding if necessary
• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, dishwashing, and tidying up
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Remind clients to take medications
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or recreational activities
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s physical or emotional condition
• Follow the care plan and communicate with supervisors about client needs
