A First Name Basis (AFNB) is an in-home care provider serving seniors and individuals with disabilities across the region. We’re expanding with caregiver careers that emphasize compassion, respect, and teamwork while delivering quality care in clients’ homes.

We are hiring a Senior Care Assistant for full-time, part-time, PRN, weekends, and overnight shifts in Mississippi. Compensation starts at $11 per hour with overtime opportunities and daily pay available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid ID, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to client homes.
• Pass pre-employment screenings: background check and drug screen.
• Ability to work independently in home settings.
• Willingness to complete onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Light housekeeping, meal preparation, and assist with feeding.
• Medication reminders and accompany clients to appointments.
• Monitor and report changes in client health and well-being.
• Document care provided according to company and regulatory standards.
• Travel reliably to patient homes and assigned visits across the service area.
• Complete required in-service training upon hire and annually.
• Follow written care instructions and document services provided.
