Job summary

Attentive Care NY is seeking PCA/HHA professionals to provide in-home support across Long Island, including Nassau and Suffolk counties. You will assist with daily living, hygiene, meals, light housekeeping, and mobility to help clients stay safe and independent at home.

This role emphasizes dignity and reliability, with potential weekend shifts and a starting wage of $19.65/hour plus benefits, designed to support clients and families in their own homes.

Qualifications

• Certified PCA or HHA through NYSDOH training program.
• Recent experience working under your certificate within the past 2 years through a licensed agency.
• Fluent in English
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Able to lift or transfer clients weighing an average of 150 lbs, with or without assistance, according to the care plan
• Must live within a 25-mile radius of assigned cases in Long Island or Queens, including Suffolk and Nassau counties

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance with daily living and hygiene needs
• Support clients with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and household tasks
• Offer companionship and emotional support during in-home care visits
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and comfortable home environment for clients
