Job summary

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate Home Care Attendants to provide exceptional in-home care services for clients in Chelsea, MI. You will assist with daily living activities, promoting independence and quality of life in a supportive, respectful manner.

Responsibilities include personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, accompanying clients to appointments, and reporting changes to supervisors. Training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in home care or healthcare setting is a plus.
• Ability to pass background checks and necessary screenings.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility and transferring to ensure client safety.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Accompany clients to appointments and social activities as required.
• Monitor and report any changes in client health or behavior to supervisors.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with clients and family members.
