Job summary

Family Service in Champaign, IL is seeking a compassionate HomeCare Assistant to help older adults live independently at home. You will assist with daily tasks, transportation, grooming, meals, and mobility, following each client's care plan.

You will document daily activities, report changes, and participate in trainings. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CNAs welcome, valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or at least one year of related experience.
• CNAs are a great fit for this position.

Responsibilities

• Help with groceries, meal prep, laundry, and cleaning to keep client homes comfortable.
• Provide transportation to appointments and store, and assist with putting away groceries.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, transferring, supervision, and medication reminders per care plan.
• Provide companionship and maintain client well-being.
