Job summary

Eliot is seeking passionate Bilingual Family Support Specialists to join its MSPCC division in the Healthy Families program. You will provide home-based guidance to first-time parents to foster a stable, nurturing environment for their child.

Responsibilities include educating parents on infant health and development, promoting positive parenting, helping set goals, and connecting families with community resources. Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm; some after-hours visits; Hourly rate $21.84-$23.06.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children and families.
• Valid Massachusetts driver's license.
• Bilingual in Haitian Creole or Portuguese.

Responsibilities

• Educate parents on optimal health, growth, and development during infancy and early childhood.
• Encourage positive parenting skills, enhance parental health and wellness, and improve educational attainment.
• Assist parents with setting and achieving goals related to education, work and housing.
• Connect families with essential community resources, including educational, employment, financial, housing, and medical services.
• Encourage co-parent involvement in program groups and activities.
