Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking experienced, passionate, progressive and driven individuals who genuinely enjoy working with children. This role involves providing 1:1 behavioral intervention in the home setting under the supervision of a BCBA.

As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will implement goals from the treatment plan, support children on the Autism Spectrum, and collaborate with families to promote skill development in social, language, and cognitive areas.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one year relevant experience.
  • Current CPR certification (BLS American Heart Association) required.
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray as applicable per state/client requirement.
  • Strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

  • Follows the instructions of the BCBA/Program Supervisor.
  • Provides behavior assistance/interventions to assigned clients.
  • Work with clients, families, and communities to implement client treatment plan.
  • Complete and document session per policies and procedures.
  • Attend and participate in in-service training.
  • Uphold and follow the ethical standards of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
  • Playtime is learning time; fun is expected as well.
