Job summary

Behavioral Health Works is hiring part-time Behavior Technicians/RBTs to deliver in-home and community-based ABA therapy for children with ASD. You will monitor progress, support communication and social skills, and keep sessions engaging and energetic for active keinders.

Must have transportation to client locations and meet MA state requirements. Position offers flexible scheduling, travel reimbursement, and access to a range of voluntary benefits; opportunity for growth within a fast-moving

Here’s What We’re Looking For
  • Candidates must meet the minimum age requirement of 21 years, as mandated by Massachusetts state insurance requirements for Behavior Technicians.
  • Minimum of 60 College Credits completed OR 6-months of recent work experience with children with developmental disabilities OR an active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
  • Must meet minimum availability of 4 days a week for 4 hours a day (After 3pm)
  • You’ll need reliable transportation & must be comfortable driving to client sessions
  • Access and ability to use a smartphone or similar device with internet services capable of capturing client session data
Position Requirements
  • Stay active throughout the day by sitting on the floor, kneeling, bending, crouching, standing, and frequently transitioning between floor and standing during therapy sessions.
  • Bring energy, patience, and professionalism while actively engaging with children, implementing behaviour support plans, and ensuring client safety by responding calmly and appropriately to challenging behaviours.
  • Lift or assist children and equipment up to 50 lbs. (as required by assigned cases), complete documentation using electronic devices, and travel reliably between assigned client locations.
