Job summary

GYMGUYZ is hiring a Personal Trainer specialized in Adaptive & Special Populations for in-home sessions in the Fremont, CA area. You will tailor workouts for clients with varying abilities and ensure safety and motivation in home settings.

The ideal candidate has a personal training certification, CPR/AED, and experience with diverse populations or rehabilitation clients. A driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Current personal training certification preferred.
• Experience with special populations, older adults, or rehabilitation clients a plus.
• Background in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, PT/OT, or related field preferred.
• CPR/AED certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication, patience, and adaptability.
• Comfortable providing in-home training.
• Located in or near Fremont, CA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, professional, engaging one-on-one training sessions.
• Develop individualized programs based on client goals and abilities.
• Modify exercises for clients with mobility limitations, injuries, or disabilities.
• Deliver strength, mobility, balance, and functional movement training.
• Monitor performance and adjust programs as needed.
• Build professional relationships with clients (and caregivers when appropriate).
• Maintain accurate session notes and communicate updates to the team.
• Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and appropriate boundaries in clients' homes.
• Follow GYMGUYZ safety standards and scope-of-practice guidelines.
