Job summary

Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium is seeking an In Game Production Intern to assist the In-Game Entertainment/Media Relations Coordinator during Spring Training and the Florida State League seasons. You will oversee press box staff, operate the video board, and contribute to social media and graphic design.

Candidates should have strong graphic design and video editing experience, familiarity with Daktronics software, and skills in Microsoft Excel/Word and Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• Strong graphic design and video editing background.
• Experience with Daktronics software is a plus.
• Ability to multi-task, think critically, and problem solve.
• Willing to work long hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Willing to cooperate with other areas of the organization.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Adobe Creative (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
• Willing to complete the internship through mid-September.
• Willing to work in team or individually.
• Must pass drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Manage Video Board (Daktronics, Showcontrol, Dakstats) and Scoreboard during Spring Training and Florida State League.
• Train and supervise all press box staff, including PA announcer, music operator, ABS, official scorer, clock operator.
• Assist with planning and coordinating on-field activities with promotions.
• Program video board equipment daily (head shots, stats, logos, etc.).
• Create visual content for the video board for Spring Training and Florida State League games.
• Create and utilize motion graphics, headshots, promotional graphics, etc. for videoboard on gamedays.
• Assist with creation and editing of short-form video for social media, broadcast, and videoboard.
• Work with Marketing team to create flyers, sales collateral, banners, etc.
• Work with team photographer to create a database of all baseball related photographs, fan shots, marketing collateral.
• Manage the weekly email newsletter.
