Job summary

County of San Diego is seeking a Sheriff’s Mental Health Case Management Clinician to provide in-custody case management for individuals diagnosed with mental illness. This journey-level position supports detainees within the Sheriff's Detention network and collaborates with mental health colleagues to coordinate services.

Ideal candidate must hold a Master’s degree in a related field and active California BBS registration or closely related credentials; pre-licensing hours are valued.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field.
• Active California BBS registration as ASW/AMFT/APCC.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management to detainees diagnosed with mental illness.
• Coordinate with Sheriff's Detentions and mental health services.
