Job summary

Canopy Children’s Solutions in Mississippi seeks an In-Circle Program Therapist to deliver needed mental health services to children and families. You will perform clinical assessments, provide tailored interventions, and contribute to ongoing case planning with CPS and the in-Circle Program team.

Required qualifications include a Master’s degree in a behavioral health field, current PCMHT/CMHT certification or license within 30 days, and at least two years of clinical experience with youth and

Qualifications

• Valid and current mental health Certification (PCMHT or CMHT) and/or license within 30 days of employment.
• Must have at least two years clinical experience working with children and youth with serious emotional disturbances and families with complex needs.
• Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license and auto liability insurance, willing to use personal vehicle for organization business.

Responsibilities

• W orks with CPS, the in-Circle Program team, and family to address mental health service needs.
• Develops Crisis Management Plan within 24 hours of admission and reviews it at Family Team Meetings.
• Completes programmatic assessments and uses findings to plan clinical interventions.
• Develops initial case goals and interventions in coordination with team and family.
• Facilitates Family Team Meetings with CPS stakeholders; conducts weekly progress reviews.
• Delivers strength-based, family-centered clinical services; coordinates with community agencies.
• Assists in discharge/aftercare planning and provides 24/7 crisis intervention as needed.
