Adams 12 Five Star Schools in Thornton, CO is seeking an In-Building Guest Teacher to support classrooms on a full-time basis as a substitute. You will be assigned daily to meet the district's greatest staffing needs and provide instruction and classroom coverage.

SUMMARY

Provide classroom teaching support on a full-time basis to one dedicated school in Adams 12 Five Star Schools. Will be assigned by school on a daily basis to provide substitute teaching services where there is the greatest need.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Deliver instructional activities.
• Create positive educational climate for students to learn in.
• Utilize various curriculum resources and technologies to enhance student learning.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom creating appropriate behavior strategies.

Necessary Skills And Background

• Possess or ability to obtain a valid/appropriate Colorado Educator License, or possess a 1, 3 or 5 year substitute teaching license.
