Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain related field is required.
5+ years’ experience in logistics or compliance preferred.

Our W&T Supply Chain Team innovates and executes to optimize source-to-shelf operations by analyzing supply chain processes and systems while providing current, reliable supply chain data, analysis, and technical info.

As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will develop processes, tools, reports, and provide data analytics to support H-E-B’s supply chain strategic initiatives such as supply and demand forecasting, inventory planning, logistics, and cost optimization.

As an Import Optimization Analyst II, you’ll be responsible for project management tasks, data processing, paperwork and recordkeeping related to our suppliers. You’ll partner cross-functionally with our buyers, sourcing managers, vendors, Corporate Compliance and other teams to process data and analyze global risks and determine efficiency opportunities.

What is the work?

Analytics

Independently identifies, documents, analyzes, implements, and communicates solutions to meet the needs of the business

Import Optimization

Research and recommend cost savings opportunities
Assesses potential cost-savings opportunities based on suppliers’ supply chain against HEB’s business needs
Supports our customs compliance team in guiding suppliers through customs compliance requirements
Supports our global logistics team in providing freight volumes from import suppliers to identify efficiencies.
Presents to leadership and business partners on key performance indicators
Supports training and education services to teams & vendors

Project Management

Manages medium to large complexity projects that may encompass technologies, facilities, processes, materials, handling systems, or other business initiatives
Ensures the project is on schedule, high quality, within determined budget, meets departmental scorecard, and creates business value
Contributes to project efforts/status including developing project plans, schedules, risk assessments, and coordinating logistical team
Proactively develops project management tools for Supply Chain
Supports/delivers training and education services to teams & resources
May lead, in conjunction with project teams, the delivery of processes, systems, processes, metrics and/or services in the agreed upon time frames
Maintains client/stakeholder partnerships to ensure overall satisfaction
a related bachelor’s or associate degree (preferred) and 5+ years of experience in logistics or compliance
5+ years’ experience in transportation
2+ years’ experience with sourcing methods
