Job summary

Holiday Automotive is seeking an Automotive Technician at our Fond du Lac location. You will perform repairs and maintenance, using diagnostic tools, and communicate with service advisors to relay customer needs. A 1-year technician background helps you hit the ground running.

We offer a guaranteed signing bonus up to $6,000 with suitable experience, plus comprehensive benefits and ongoing training in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year as an Automotive Technician.
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Willingness to learn new technology and procedures.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to communicate with customers in person and virtually.

Responsibilities

• Performs Work Specified on the Repair Order with Efficiency and in Accordance with Dealership and Manufacturer Standards
• Tests Components and Systems Using Diagnostic Tools and Special Service Equipment
• Diagnoses, Maintains, and Repairs all Vehicle Systems Including Engine, Transmission, Electrical Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Climate, Computer, and Electronics
• Communicates Directly with the Service Advisor to Properly Convey Needs to Customers
• Provides an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
