About the Role

Location: US—CA, CO, GA, FL, ID, MD, MA, MN, NC, NV, OR, SC, TN, TX, VA, WA and Canada—BC, ON, AB. Remote.

We are seeking an Implementation Specialist to lead implementations in our professional services department. You will partner with clients and internal stakeholders to drive successful implementations.

What will you be doing?

• Work with multiple customers simultaneously to manage and implement new clients and their data.
• Develop deep knowledge of Aplos software and stay current on product features.
• Provide technical accounting expertise and recommendations through consultative product setup, calls, and follow‑up.
• Show strong project management, consulting, communication, and leadership skills to deliver high‑quality solutions on time and within scope.
• Collaborate within services, customer success, and sales to coordinate project execution and hand‑off to support.

What we’re looking for (Requirements)

• 2+ years of public accounting experience (including comps, reviews, audits) or equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience in software implementation, project management, or customer engagement.
• Outstanding customer service skills with a strong desire to create value and delight customers.
• Clear understanding of accounting best practices and GAAP; familiarity with non‑profit/church accounting.
• Tech savvy and passionate about learning and managing multiple software platforms.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including advanced functions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
• Quick learner and proactive.
• A team player.
