Overview

The Office of Research Affairs at the University of Florida College of Medicine Jacksonville invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level to further grow our research focus on implementation science. We seek established, extramurally-funded implementation scientists to expand our engagement of health issues that affect the population we serve and to add value to our federally funded programs in respiratory health, neurorehabilitation, and/or population genomics. This role supports translating groundbreaking research to patients and the community in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment. This position offers opportunities for both tenured and non-tenured academic tracks, depending on experience and clinician status.

Responsibilities

The UF College of Medicine Jacksonville aims to strengthen its research ecosystem and translational impact through a growing implementation science program within the college. The successful candidate will contribute to ongoing research and participate in interdisciplinary activities to advance health outcomes in the areas described above.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: Candidates should have a MD/DO/PhD in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications: Ideal candidates will be at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank with an established record of federal funding as principal investigator. Preference will be given to candidates with 3–5 years of experience conducting original research with extramural funding as PI.
