Job summary

Amadeus North America, Inc. is seeking an Implementation Engineer to support airline and airport IT implementation projects through configuration, testing, documentation and deployment activities.

You will contribute to project success by executing assigned tasks, supporting customer engagements and developing technical, business and project management capabilities. Reporting to a Project Lead or Project Manager, you will progressively build the skills required to independently manage project

• Clear and timely escalation of issues.

About the Business Area/Department: Strengthen implementation delivery capability, support customer project demand, improve delivery consistency, and create a clear career path from implementation support through to senior delivery leadership.

Summary of the role

The Implementation Engineer supports the delivery of airline and airport IT implementation projects through configuration, testing, documentation and deployment activities. The role contributes to project success by executing assigned activities, supporting customer engagements and developing technical, business and project management capabilities. The role operates under the direction of a Project Lead or Project Manager while progressively building the skills required to independently manage project activities.

In this role you’ll

• Support implementation and deployment activities.

About the ideal candidate

Developing project management and implementation delivery knowledge. Good communication, documentation and teamwork skills. Basic IT background with willingness to develop product, integration, network and troubleshooting knowledge. Ability to work under guidance, follow standards and escalate appropriately. Strong ownership mindset and accountability for assigned tasks.
