Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Kansas is seeking a Warehouse Donation Attendant in Hutchinson, KS to assist with dock loading/unloading and merchandise preparation for store delivery. This full‑time, on‑site role supports the organization’s mission to transform lives through education, training and employment.

The position requires physical ability, including lifting up to 50 pounds (sometimes more), reliable attendance, and a collaborative approach with staff and individuals with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Product knowledge relevant to donations and retail merchandise
• Strong oral communication and customer service skills
• Commitment to ethics, trust, and dignity in dealing with people with disabilities
• Ability to assess items and provide helpful, courteous service

Responsibilities

• Answer donation door politely and greet customers
• Locate and unload donated materials and move to storage or store delivery areas
• Move materials in and out of warehouse and assist with trash/compactor operations
• Maintain a clean dock area and adhere to safety policies
• Support other departments and assist in ensuring accessibility of services
