Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Illinois is hiring a Warehouse Associate for full-time work. You will support warehouse operations and help mentor program participants in work therapy development, with a schedule of 7:30am–4:00pm and 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading donations, pricing items, maintaining clean work areas, operating warehouse equipment, and processing donor information.

• Load, unload, and move products to correct departments
• Price merchandise according to guidelines
• Track production numbers and complete reports
• Maintain organized work areas and clean environment
• Operate warehouse equipment as trained
• Follow safety protocols and procedures
• Assist donors with donation drop-offs
• Complete donation receipts accurately
• Collect and track donor information
• Process various types of donations including: Clothing and accessories, Household items, Electronics, Furniture and antiques, Jewelry and collectibles
