Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Transfer Admissions Counselor to support transfer admissions at the Boca Raton campus. The role collaborates with the Assistant Director of Transfer Admissions to develop procedures that support admissions policies and recruitment, including new undergraduate transfer recruitment plans.

The position involves counseling students, visiting colleges, promoting Link2FAU and transfer scholarships, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to facilitate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area; two years of relevant experience, or a master's degree in an appropriate area.
• Daily contact with students, faculty, staff, and the public, including prospective transfer students.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle and travel locally/regionally.

Responsabilités

• Counsels prospective transfer students and families about FAU transfer options.
• Visits state/community college campuses to discuss transfer guidelines and admissions.
• Promotes FAU transfer scholarships and the Link2FAU Program.
• Plans workshops, presentations, and events to promote transfer admissions.
• Coordinates with FAU staff and departments on transfer and admissions matters.
• Tracks student visits and applications; prepares reports on outcomes.
