Job summary

Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) is seeking a Technical Writer/Documentation Specialist to assist in writing technical manuals, agreements, and program documents under supervision. You will draft, edit, and format materials, align content with operations, and train with senior staff.

The role emphasizes teamwork across departments, documentation accuracy, and ongoing professional development in writing and graphic design. Travel to off-site locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; relevant experience may substitute.
• Two years of non-supervisory experience in document preparation or technical writing.
• Knowledge of marketing and communications concepts and techniques.
• Excellent business English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, format and develop word processing templates and forms for technical manuals, agreements, and procedures.
• Create, edit and revise technical documents; ensure content consistency and linkage to operations.
• Train with Manager and Technical Writer to produce, edit, and format materials.
• Collaborate with staff and other agencies to develop content materials.
• Travel to off-site locations as required; interview subject-matter experts.
• Develop and update data systems for tracking the technical document completion process.
• Assist with division-wide public relations efforts, including presentations and reports.
• Focus on professional development in writing, editing, and graphic design.
