Job summary

L3Harris is looking for an Intern in Systems Engineering to contribute to our defense-tech programs in Wilmington, MA. You will analyze requirements, develop concept of operations, and help design and test end-to-end architectures.

The role involves creating test plans, writing scripts, conducting tests, and delivering presentations on design activity and status to customers. Course work in related fields and familiarity with Rhapsody are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or related field at an accredited university.
• Coursework and/or experience in systems engineering, systems architecture, systems analysis and design, system performance modeling, integration and/or model-based systems engineering
• Familiar with Rhapsody

Responsibilities

• Perform operational analysis and develop concept of operations, design and implementation plans
• Develop test plans, procedures & cases
• Conduct tests and document results
• Use software tools, scripting and software/hardware troubleshooting
• Analyze systems requirements from end systems and users
• Supports development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures
• Develop and deliver presentations to communicate design activity plans and status to internal and external customers
