Job summary

CelLink is seeking a Manager, Sustaining Design Engineering to lead a team of sustaining design engineers, drive post-launch improvements, and own projects from customer requests through CAD updates, validation, and manufacturing implementation.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with Applications Engineering and Manufacturing, and balance technical depth with strategic oversight to deliver high-quality, reliable products in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of engineering experience with 1–2 years in a direct supervisory role.
• Experience with 3D CAD systems; SolidWorks preferred.
• Design Release/Development experience in automotive, defense/aerospace, industrial, or data center contexts.

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and grow Sustaining Design Engineers team.
• Lead post-launch design changes and DFMEA/PFMEA activities.
• Oversee CAD design, validation testing, and design release documentation.
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering and Manufacturing on customer-driven changes.
