Job summary
Fluvanna County Public Schools seek to hire a Substitute School Nurse to provide comprehensive school health services in assigned schools: nursing assessment, appropriate care, medical referrals, and follow-up of identified problems. Location: Various school location(s). Terms: Daily as Needed/Substitute Pay - Non-benefited position.
Qualifications
- Must be licensed in Virginia as a LPN or RN.
- Valid Virginia Driver's License.
- Previous school experience preferred, not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive school health services, including nursing assessment and care.
- Act as liaison between home, school, community and healthcare providers.
- Supervise students under your care in the clinic or on medical care plans.
