Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to support our stores with housekeeping and janitorial tasks. The role encompasses dusting, mopping, sweeping and polishing to present a clean shopping environment for customers. Full-time and part-time options are available with ten-hour shifts.

The position requires physical endurance, ability to lift up to 30 lbs, and adherence to safety guidelines and store policies. Prior custodial experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Lift up to 30 lbs with or without accommodations.
• Stand or walk for extended periods.
• Bend, reach and grasp throughout the day.
• Experience in housekeeping, janitorial or custodian roles preferred.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 1+ years housekeeping/janitorial experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Keep stores clean through dusting, mopping, sweeping and polishing.
• Operate buffers and floor scrubbers after training.
• Handle trash and bathrooms responsibilities.
• Follow ISO regulations and store policies for safe work.
