Job summary

Encompass Health is hiring a Speech Pathologist in Missouri to provide comprehensive speech and language therapy, evaluating and treating patients to improve communication abilities. The role emphasizes personalized care, progress tracking, and collaboration with the care team in a leading national inpatient rehabilitation organization.

The ideal candidate will have current licensure or certification, CCC, and CPR certification (or be able to obtain CPR within 30 days).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Certification (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
