Job summary

Encompass Health welcomes you to join our national inpatient rehabilitation team as a Speech Pathologist. In this role you will evaluate, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans to help patients overcome speech and language challenges while working with cutting-edge therapy tools.

You’ll document progress, adjust therapy as needed, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
