Job summary

Walker School in Needham, Massachusetts seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct language therapy to students and consult with educators and families. The SLP will conduct evaluations, participate in IEP and TEAM meetings, and contribute to development of trauma-informed, relationship-based services.

Qualifications include an M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology with DESE licensure and ASHA CCC; school-based experience is preferred. The position is full-time and onsite.

Qualifications

• M.A. in Speech/Language Pathology with DESE licensure required.
• ASHA CCC certification preferred.
• Experience in school-based settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct SL therapy in 1:1 settings and small groups.
• Consult with teachers and multidisciplinary team members on SL needs.
• Attend IEP/TEAM meetings and Multidisciplinary Team Meetings.
• Write formal and informal evaluation reports and progress notes.
• Organize, monitor, and maintain SL materials.
