Nenana City School District is seeking a Special Education Teacher to provide instruction and services for students from Kindergarten through 12th grade with diverse learning needs in Alaska. The role emphasizes teamwork in planning IEPs, accommodations within the general curriculum, and collaboration with general education staff.

The successful candidate will hold Alaska teacher licensure with a Special Education Endorsement (or eligibility) and may have a Master’s in Special Education.

Formación

• Alaska Teaching License with Special Education Endorsement required or eligible.
• Master's Degree in Special Education or related field preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare individualized education plans (IEPs) with parents and IEP team members reflecting students' educational needs.
• Design instruction for individual and small groups aligned with the general education curriculum.
• Coordinate IEP implementation with general education staff and monitor progress.
