Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group, LLC is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our Lancaster, CA team. This full-time role involves delivering specialized instruction, implementing IEPs, and collaborating with a supportive team to help students succeed.

Qualifications

• Master's in Special Education from an accredited institution.
• Valid California Special Education teaching license or certification - Mild/Mod.
• Experience working with students in a school setting, particularly those with special needs.
• Familiar with SEIS, IEPs, Assessments, and the Common Core curriculum.
• Behavior training preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities in a classroom setting.
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff.
• Monitor progress and document student outcomes to inform instruction.
