• DESE certification in the appropriate subject matter/at the appropriate grade level is required.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students.
• Plan and implement lessons based on the curriculum meeting individual needs, interests, and abilities of students.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learners.
• Utilize instructional technology and guide students in its use.
• Evaluate assessment data and inform appropriate actions.
• Communicate clearly and concisely in oral and written form; present information to staff, parents and the public.
• Complete academic evaluations with students per state and federal regulations; inform IEP progress to families and teams.
• Serve as liaison/case manager for students on assigned caseload; communicate with parents, colleagues, and administrators.
• Keep confidential records; adhere to district policies and legal requirements.
