Salary $17.49–$19.43/hour. Responsibilities include collaborating with SPED teachers, supporting students in various settings, developing instructional materials, and monitoring progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; no anticipated graduation dates considered.
• At least 6 months experience teaching, tutoring, coaching, or advising youth.
• Understanding of challenges faced by urban students and communities.
• Strong punctuality and reliable attendance.
• Effective communication with students, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Ability to commute to the location and navigate a school environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with SPED teachers to support each student’s needs.
• Provide direct student support in classrooms, resource rooms, and other settings.
• Assist in instructional materials and activities for academic, social, emotional growth.
• Monitor student progress and behavior; document observations.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow privacy laws and policies.
• Assist with organization of classroom materials.
• Collaborate with therapists, counselors, and admins to support development.
