Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work required; NYS LMSW/LCSW preferred.
• 1–3 years of clinical experience in substance use and/or mental health.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHR systems.
• Experience with diverse populations and maintaining confidentiality.
• Knowledge of NYC medical/behavioral health networks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conducts bio-psychosocial assessments, mental status, and mental health evaluations.
• Provides individual, couples, group, and family counseling per treatment plans.
• Screens for mental health and substance use; refers as needed.
• Provides crisis intervention when needed.
• Maintains accurate client records in compliance with HIPAA and 42 CFR.
• Liaisess with community agencies and service providers.
• Designs and facilitates specialized therapeutic groups.
